AFGE Local 2883 was growing fast, but their operations couldn't keep up. Member tracking lived in spreadsheets, stewards managed grievance cases through email chains, and the leadership team had no centralized way to communicate with members or manage content. We built a complete digital headquarters for the union — designed for the people using it, not developers:
- Member management — automated tracking replaces spreadsheets, new members flow through a two-stage approval process
- Case tracking for stewards — grievances and EEO complaints are assigned, tracked, and resolved in one system with automatic notifications
- Content publishing — editors draft, admins approve, and articles go live with a built-in editorial workflow
- Self-serve admin — officers manage the entire site, member directory, meeting minutes, and financial reports without developer help
